It features a normally open (NO) switching function and PNP output type, with a rated operating distance of 5 mm and installation flush. The sensor is suitable for use with ferrous and nonferrous targets, with an assured operating distance of 0-4.05 mm.
The 3-wire output type operates on 10-30 V DC, with a switching frequency of 0-360 Hz and a maximum operating current of 200 mA. The sensor also includes LED indicators for operating voltage (green) and switching state (yellow). The inductive sensor NMB5-12GM55 E2 has a wide ambient temperature range of -25 to 85 °C (-13 to 185 °F) and a degree of protection of IP69K, making it suitable for use in harsh environments.
The sensor is connected via a 2-meter cable PUR with a diameter of 4.8 mm ± 0.2 mm. The housing and sensing face is made of durable stainless steel 1.4305 / AISI 303, ensuring reliable performance and longevity.
