The IPS 400i is the smallest camera-based sensor for the compartment fine positioning of a high-bay storage device with double-depth shelves.

High-performance, ambient-light-independent IR-LED illumination, fault-free use is possible for a working range of up to 2,400 mm. The also available heated version can be used at ambient temperatures as low as -30 °C. Its dimensions are unrivaled with respect to the small size.

As a result, installation in constrained spaces poses no problem. Other highlights include the direct configuration on the device using printed configuration codes, which can be read indirectly, the simple operation, four alignment LEDs, and the information about the function reserve, which is output as a quality score.

The IPS 200i is a camera-based sensor for the compartment fine positioning of a high-bay storage device with a single compartment depth.

With just one device model, a large working range from 100 to 600 mm can be achieved; the also available, heated version can be used at ambient temperatures as low as -30 °C. Its dimensions are unrivaled with respect to the small size.

Leuze Compartment Fine Positioning: LSIS 472i Series

The LSIS 472i smart camera, a special device type within the LSIS 400i smart camera family, is intended for compartment fine positioning, particularly on double-deep shelves.

The LSIS 472i detects circular holes or reflectors and determines the position deviation in the X and Y direction relative to the target position. With the integrated web config configuration software, the camera can be configured using a browser. Image transfer and, thus, process monitoring is possible during operation and takes place via FTP.

The camera is equipped with integrated Ethernet TCP/IP as well as an RS232 interface. Furthermore, 8 additional configurable digital IOs are available in total, e.g. for positioning the high-bay storage device.
