Omron OS32C-CBL 10M Safety Laser Scanner

Omron OS32C-CBL-10M is a 10 m power cable for OS32C safety laser scanners, designed for machines where the scanner is installed farther from the control wiring point. Its longer reach supports routing across larger equipment, guarded production areas, and installations where the cable must follow a protected path before reaching the control system. Compatible OS32C scanners support Type 3 operation, PLd/Safety Category 3 performance, a 270° detection field, 0.4° angular resolution, and dual PNP OSSD safety outputs. The cable carries power and I/O connections without changing the scanner’s protective range or sensing performance. The OS32C-CBL-10M belongs to the OS32C Series within the laser scanner accessory range from Omron automation safety products.

The Omron OS32C-CBL-10M Safety Laser Scanner Power Cable provides a 10 m power and I/O connection for compatible OS32C scanner systems. Its longer reach is useful on larger machines, extended guarded areas, or installations where the cable must follow a protected route before reaching the control wiring. Compatible OS32C scanners can support Type 3 operation, PLd/Safety Category 3 performance, a 270° detection field, 0.4° angular resolution, configurable monitoring zones, and dual PNP OSSD safety outputs. These remain scanner functions; the CBL-10M provides the required electrical connection without changing the scanner’s sensing performance or protective-field configuration.

OS32C-CBL-10M is mainly selected by cable length, routing distance, installation layout, and compatibility with the OS32C power and I/O interface. It does not alter minimum object resolution, response time, detection angle, or maximum protective distance. The OS32C system uses an 18-pin power connection together with a separate M12 communication interface, keeping electrical and communication functions clearly separated. The 10 m length can reduce the need for intermediate routing changes where the control point is farther from the scanner, especially on larger machine layouts. For compact installations where the wiring point is closer and a shorter cable is more practical, see the OS32C-CBL-03M 3 m power cable.
