The Omron E3JK Photoelectric Sensor series is engineered to provide long sensing distances across multiple detection principles, including Omron through beam photoelectric sensor, Omron retro reflective photoelectric sensor, and Omron diffuse photoelectric sensor types. Through-beam models support detection distances up to 40 meters, while Omron retro reflective sensor variants offer stable sensing up to 7 meters, and Omron diffuse reflective sensor types reach up to 2.5 meters. The series improves operational visibility using a red LED light spot and large status indicators that remain visible from long distances. An enlarged sensitivity adjuster and operation selector enhance usability during setup and maintenance. Freely selectable power supply inputs from 24 to 240 VAC/DC simplify system design. Models with infrared LEDs are also available, enabling Omron ir sensor applications where visible light is not preferred.
