Omron TL-W3MC1 2M Proximity Sensor
Omron TL-W3MC1 2M is a flat inductive, unshielded proximity sensor with a 3 mm sensing distance and a 0 to 2.4 mm setting distance. It uses a DC 3-wire NPN output with NO operation, a pre-wired 2 m cable, and a 12 to 24 VDC power supply. Ferrous metal is the specified detectable object, with an iron 12 × 12 × 1 mm standard sensing object. Response frequency is 600 Hz minimum, current consumption is 15 mA max. at 24 VDC, and differential travel is 10% max. of sensing distance. The Omron TL-W3MC1 2M Proximity Sensor uses a flat inductive, unshielded sensing arrangement with a 3 mm sensing distance and a 0 to 2.4 mm setting distance. Its output is DC 3-wire NPN with NO operation, connected through a pre-wired 2 m cable and supplied from 12 to 24 VDC. Ferrous metal is specified as the detectable object, while the standard sensing object is iron measuring 12 × 12 × 1 mm. Response frequency is 600 Hz minimum, current consumption is 15 mA max. at 24 VDC with no load, and differential travel is 10% max. of sensing distance. A red detection indicator is included, together with reverse-polarity protection and a surge suppressor.
Operating and storage temperature is -25 to 70°C without icing or condensation, with humidity from 35% to 95%. Temperature influence is ±10% max. of sensing distance at 23°C over the stated temperature range. Insulation resistance is 50 MΩ min. at 500 VDC, dielectric strength is 1,000 VAC for 1 minute, and voltage influence is ±2.5% max. within rated voltage ±10%. The model is rated IP67.
