The Omron NX1W-CIF11 Machine Automation Controller Serial Communications Interface Board provides RS-422A/RS-485 connectivity for communication with compatible industrial devices. It supports transmission distances up to 50 m and uses a screwless clamping terminal block for system wiring. Host Link, Modbus-RTU master, and no-protocol communication provide multiple methods for exchanging data with connected equipment. The differential interface also supports multi-drop serial communication where several compatible devices share the network.
