The Omron NX1W-CIF12 Machine Automation Controller Serial Communications Interface Board provides isolated RS-422A/RS-485 communication for longer-distance device connections. It supports transmission distances up to 500 m and includes a screwless clamping terminal block for the communication interface. Host Link, Modbus-RTU master, and no-protocol modes provide flexible options for exchanging serial data with compatible equipment. The isolated interface separates the communication circuit while supporting differential serial transmission. The NX1W-CIF12 adds long-distance RS-422A/RS-485 connectivity to compatible NX controller architectures. It extends the serial network PLC range within Omron machine control systems.
