The Omron NX-TS3102 Machine Automation Controller Temperature Input Unit combines 4 thermocouple input channels with temperature resolution down to 0.01°C. A 10 ms per-unit conversion time supports rapid temperature measurement, while Free-Run refreshing continuously updates acquired values for controller processing. The module uses dual 16-terminal blocks for connection of compatible temperature signals and can also work with an optional NX-HB Heater Burnout Detection Unit for heater monitoring. These characteristics give the NX-TS3102 a specific role where higher-resolution and faster thermocouple measurement are required. It expands the high-resolution PLC temperature input range within Omron machine control systems.
