The Omron EE-SY672 is a compact reflective photomicrosensor designed for short-range object detection in vertical mounting applications. It uses a non-modulated light source to detect white reflective objects (15Γ—15 mm) at distances between 1 mm and 5 mm.

This sensor features a selectable Light-ON or Dark-ON mode with NPN open collector output, allowing flexible detection logic based on application needs. With a connector-type wiring system, it supports efficient installation and quick maintenance. A red LED indicator provides clear visual feedback during operation. Current consumption is rated at 40 mA, and the sensor handles up to 100 mA load current.

Constructed with a PBT housing and polycarbonate optical parts, the EE-SY672 is rated IP50 and designed for durability. It operates reliably in temperatures from -25Β°C to 55Β°C and is ideal for use in assembly lines, compact machinery, and part detection tasks where precision and space efficiency matter.
