Omron EE-SX677P Photomicrosensor
Omron EE-SX677P is an R-shaped through-beam slot photomicrosensor designed with a fixed 5 mm sensing gap and a PNP output. An infrared LED forms the internal optical path between the emitter and receiver, while the output state changes as a target passes through the sensing opening. Light-ON or Dark-ON operation can be selected to match the required control logic. The sensor operates from 5 to 24 VDC and consumes 12 mA maximum. A 4-pole connector provides the electrical interface, while load short-circuit protection supports the output circuit. For compact R-shaped sensing with PNP switching, the EE-SX677P belongs to the slot-type optical sensor range developed across Omron Industrial Sensors.

The Omron EE-SX677P Photomicrosensor uses an R-shaped through-beam slot arrangement with a fixed 5 mm sensing gap and a PNP output. An infrared LED establishes the internal optical path across the slot, while the output state changes according to the target condition as a component passes through the opening. Light-ON or Dark-ON operation can be selected to match the required control sequence. The unit operates from 5 to 24 VDC and consumes 12 mA maximum. A 4-pole connector provides the electrical interface, and load short-circuit protection supports the output circuit. Fluorescent-light resistance is specified up to 1,000 lx on the receiver surface under the stated ambient-light conditions.
The EE-SX677P uses a PBT body and is specified for operation from -25°C to 55°C, while storage extends from -30°C to 80°C. The listed mechanical ratings include vibration from 20 to 2,000 Hz and shock resistance of 500 m/s² under the stated test procedures. IP50 protection is specified for the enclosure. Its R-shaped geometry provides the same basic mounting form as the EE-SX677, but this model uses PNP switching instead of NPN. That distinction makes the model relevant where the connected control circuitry requires a PNP signal. For the corresponding R-shaped connector model with an NPN output, see the Omron EE-SX677.
