The Omron EE-SPY302 is a vertical reflective slot-type photomicrosensor designed for reliable object detection in narrow spaces. It uses modulated light to detect white reflective surfaces (15×15 mm) at distances up to 5 mm, providing stable performance even in variable lighting conditions.

This sensor operates in Dark-ON mode and delivers an NPN voltage output with a maximum load current of 80 mA. With a compact connector-type configuration and a red LED status indicator, it ensures easy setup and real-time operational feedback. The average current consumption is just 15 mA, with a peak draw of 50 mA.

Encased in durable polycarbonate, the EE-SPY302 meets IP50 standards and functions reliably in temperatures from -10°C to 55°C. It’s ideal for short-range sensing in applications such as label detection, paper feed monitoring, and small-part positioning.
