The Omron EE-SPY301 is a compact reflective-type photomicrosensor designed in a horizontal (radial) configuration. With a sensing distance of 5 mm using a white target, this sensor is ideal for close-range object detection in limited-space applications.

It operates in Dark-ON mode and provides a reliable NPN voltage output with low residual voltage—1.0 V max at 80 mA. The connector-type interface supports quick and easy installation in industrial environments. A red LED indicator displays the detection status, while the sensor’s average current consumption remains as low as 15 mA.

Housed in a polycarbonate body and rated IP50, the EE-SPY301 performs well in temperatures ranging from -10°C to 55°C. Its high shock and vibration resistance make it suitable for use in compact machinery, presence sensing, or object counting systems in packaging, sorting, and assembly lines.
