Leuze GS 61/6D.2 optical forked sensor with part number 50110768 is designed to detection of non-transparent labels with a minimum label width and gap of 2 mm each. The sensor uses LED infrared light with a wavelength of 940 nm. It requires a supply voltage ranging from 10 to 30 V DC and has an open-circuit current of 0 to 30 mA.
The GS 61/6 sensor has a teach input type and one digital switching output with a maximum switching current of 100 mA. The switching element is a transistor push-pull and the switching principle is a switching signal on the label. The sensor has a response time of 0.05 ms and a readiness delay of 300 ms. During teach-in, the maximum conveyor speed is 20 m/min.
Leuze Label Sensor GS 61/6D.2 has a mouth width of 3 mm, a mouth depth of 41 mm, and dimensions of 11 mm x 30 mm x 60 mm. The housing is made of plastic (PC) and has a lens cover made of plastic/PC. The net weight of the sensor is 70 g, and it comes in two colors: black (RAL 9005) and red (RAL 3000). The sensor can be fastened through a mounting thread, through-hole mounting, or using an optional mounting device.
Leuze GS 61/6D.2 sensor has three LEDs for display and a teach button for operational controls. It can operate in temperatures ranging from -20 to 60 °C and can be stored in temperatures ranging from -30 to 70 °C. It has a degree of protection of IP 65 and is c UL US certified.
