The Omron EE-SPY311 is a compact light convergent reflective photomicrosensor designed for close-range object detection from 2 to 5 mm. It features a horizontal (radial) sensing orientation and uses modulated light to minimize interference from ambient lighting.
Operating in Dark-ON mode, the sensor outputs a signal when the reflected light from the target is blocked. It includes an NPN voltage output with low residual voltage and supports up to 80 mA load current. A red LED indicator is built in for easy status monitoring, and the connector-type wiring simplifies integration and maintenance.
Constructed with a polycarbonate body and PBT holder, the EE-SPY311 is rated IP50 and performs reliably between -10°C and 55°C. This sensor is ideal for precise part presence detection in compact assemblies, electronics handling systems, and automated sorting machines.
