The Omron EE-SPY412 is a compact vertical-type photomicrosensor designed with light convergent reflective sensing for short-range detection. It detects white objects (15×15 mm) within a 2 to 5 mm range, making it ideal for precise detection in miniature applications.

This model features modulated light for high accuracy and resistance to ambient interference. Operating in Light-ON mode, it includes an NPN voltage output and supports a maximum load current of 80 mA. The sensor consumes just 15 mA on average and features a red LED indicator for status monitoring. With a connector-type connection, it ensures easy installation and replacement in tight spaces.

Built with a durable polycarbonate case and PBT holder, the EE-SPY412 is rated IP50 and withstands industrial shock and vibration. It’s commonly used in automation setups requiring ultra-short-range sensing, such as label detection, part alignment, or component presence confirmation.
