The Pepperl Fuchs NBN8-12GM50-E2-V1 inductive Sensor Head has an M12 connection type and a normally open (NO) switching function with a PNP output type. It has a rated operating distance of 8 mm and is designed for non-flush installation. The output type is 3-wire and it operates within a voltage range of 5 to 36 V with a switching frequency range of 0 to 1650 Hz.

The switching state indicator is a multi-hole LED in yellow color. It can operate within a wide temperature range of -40 to 85 °C (-40 to 185 °F). The connector type is a plug with M12 x 1 threading and 3 pins. The housing material is made of brass and is coated with white bronze. The sensing face is made of PBT in green color and it has a degree of protection of IP68.
