The Omron NX-ECC201 Machine Automation Controller EtherCAT Coupler Unit provides the communication interface between NX I/O modules and an EtherCAT network. In DC mode, it supports communication cycles from 250 to 4,000 μs for synchronized exchange of I/O data. Power consumption is specified at 1.45 W or lower, while the maximum I/O power supply current is 4 A. These characteristics allow connected NX modules to exchange data through an EtherCAT-based distributed control architecture. The NX-ECC201 provides EtherCAT connectivity for modular NX I/O configurations. Its network functionality complements the industrial PLC network range used across Omron machine automation systems.
