The Omron CJ1W-TC001 PLC Temperature Control Unit provides 2-point temperature control using thermocouple inputs within a CJ-series Programmable Logic Controller system. It supports K, J, T, E, L, U, N, R, S, and B thermocouple types, allowing the module to work with different temperature measurement requirements. PID and ON/OFF control modes provide alternative methods for regulating temperature according to the process, while a 250 ms sampling period supports continuous measurement and control. Integrating temperature regulation into the PLC architecture allows temperature data and machine-control logic to operate within the same automation system. The CJ1W-TC001 adds temperature control capability to the CJ1W Series and forms part of the PLC temperature control range from Omron industrial controls.
