The Omron CJ1W-CT021 PLC High-Speed Counter Unit provides two 32-bit counting channels for processing high-frequency pulse signals within CJ-series Programmable Logic Controller systems. Supporting input frequencies up to 500 kHz, the module can process pulse information used for position, speed, and length-related measurement in motion and machine-control applications. Different counter modes allow incoming pulse data from compatible field devices to be incorporated into PLC control logic where standard digital inputs may not provide the required counting performance.
