It operates based on the principle of ultrasonics and has a response time of 0.3 ms. Label gap sensor GSU 06/24D-2-S8 has two digital switching outputs, each with a switching element in the form of a transistor. Output 1 switches signals on the label using a PNP transistor, while Output 2 switches signals on the label using an NPN transistor. The sensor has a readiness delay of 100 ms and can detect labels at a maximum conveyor speed of 50 m/min during teach-in.
