The GS 61/6D.2-S8 sensor operates on the principle of physics, which is optical, and has a maximum switching frequency of 10,000 Hz with a response time of 0.05 ms. It has a readiness delay of 300 ms and can detect non-transparent labels during a teach-in at a maximum conveyor speed of 20 m/min.
