Omron EE-SX770A 2M Photomicrosensor
Omron EE-SX770A 2M is a standard through-beam slot photomicrosensor with a fixed 5 mm sensing gap for compact object sensing. Its GaAs infrared LED operates at 940 nm and supports sensing of opaque targets as small as 2 × 0.8 mm. The sensor provides an NPN output with Dark-ON operation and runs from a 5 to 24 VDC supply. Current consumption is specified at 12 mA maximum. A 2 m pre-wired cable provides the electrical connection, while the red indicator is specified for the no-incident-light condition. The PBT case supports the compact body. For pre-wired NPN sensing, the EE-SX770A 2M joins the 5 mm infrared slot sensor range across Omron Sensors.

The Omron EE-SX770A 2M Photomicrosensor uses a standard through-beam optical arrangement across a fixed 5 mm sensing slot. Its GaAs infrared LED operates at 940 nm and supports sensing of opaque targets as small as 2 × 0.8 mm. The sensor provides an NPN output with Dark-ON operation and runs from 5 to 24 VDC. Current consumption is specified at 12 mA maximum. A 2 m pre-wired cable provides the electrical connection, making the unit suitable for compact equipment where wiring must extend away from the sensing point. The red indicator is specified for the no-incident-light condition. The fixed slot establishes a defined optical position for parts moving through the sensor opening.
The EE-SX770A uses a PBT case and is specified for operation from -25°C to 55°C, with storage extending from -30°C to 80°C. Operating humidity is listed from 5% to 85% without condensation. The stated mechanical ratings include vibration from 10 to 2,000 Hz and shock resistance of 500 m/s² under the specified test conditions. The enclosure carries an IP64 rating. Its 940 nm infrared source, NPN output, Dark-ON operation, and 2 m cable closely align with the EE-SX770 configuration, while the indicator specification distinguishes this model in the supplied data. For the related standard NPN version, refer to the Omron EE-SX770 2M.
