The Omron NJ501-R500 Machine Automation Controller CPU Unit integrates robotics, motion, and sequence control for advanced automated machinery and robotic systems. It supports up to 64 motion axes and 8 robots while providing 20 MB of program memory and 6 MB of variable memory for complex automation programs and operating data. EtherCAT Master, EtherNet/IP, and USB provide communication with compatible motion, robotic, and industrial network devices. The controller supports up to 2,560 I/O points and 40 units across 3 Expansion Racks, together with as many as 192 remote nodes. The NJ501-R500 combines robotic and multi-axis machine control within the motion control PLC range supporting Omron motion automation.
