The Omron NX-CIF101 Machine Automation Controller Communications Interface Unit provides 1 RS-232C serial port for communication with compatible industrial devices. A screwless clamping terminal block provides the wiring interface, while no-protocol serial communication enables data exchange with equipment such as sensors, meters, and barcode readers. The unit also works with the Serial Line Monitor in Sysmac Studio for monitoring communication frames and supporting serial-interface diagnostics.
