The Omron CJ1W-IA111 PLC Input Unit provides 8 input points for receiving 100 to 240 VAC signals from compatible field devices within industrial automation systems. The AC input interface allows external ON/OFF conditions to be transferred into the Programmable Logic Controller architecture for control-logic processing and machine sequencing. Its eight-point configuration provides additional AC input capacity for applications where field devices operate with AC signals rather than standard DC input levels. This enables AC-based detection and status information to become part of the overall machine control sequence.
