The Omron CP1W-16ER PLC Digital Output Expansion Unit provides 16 relay outputs for increasing the switching capacity of compatible Programmable Logic Controller systems. The relay outputs allow controller logic to operate additional compatible field loads when the built-in outputs of the main PLC are insufficient for the machine configuration. Current consumption is 42 mA at 5 V and 90 mA at 24 V, supporting integration with the CP1W expansion architecture. With 16 additional output points, the module supports machines that require a greater number of relay-controlled devices while retaining the existing controller platform. The CP1W-16ER expands CP1W digital output capability and belongs to the 16-point relay PLC output range within Omron industrial automation.
