The Omron NX-MD6121-5 Machine Automation Controller Digital I/O Unit combines 16 digital inputs with 16 NPN digital outputs for integrated machine signal control. It supports Switching Synchronous and Free-Run I/O refreshing for flexible operation within industrial automation systems. The outputs provide a response time of 0.1 ms ON and 0.8 ms OFF, while input response can be set from 20 μs to 400 μs. Operating from a 24 VDC supply with 5.80 W power consumption, the module supports fast processing of field-level input and output signals. The NX-MD6121-5 combines input sensing and NPN output switching within the PLC input and output range supporting Omron industrial automation.
